James is Just Like Grandpa Schow

It always strikes me as funny that someone would not like peanut butter. I understand people who have an alergy to peanut butter, but of their own free choice, I don't get it. This morning I made a piece of toast and put some peanut butter and jelly on it and while I was eating it James came over and requested some. As I put it up to his mouth, his wide open mouth closed and he pushed the toast away. After another attempt or two I gave up. Tonight for dinner we had crepes. Out on the table again was peanut butter. The jar was sitting next to James and he wanted it bad. So I passed it over to him and he started trying to take off the lid. Then I decided not to make him struggle any longer and I opened the lid. He pulled the jar up to his face, sniffed, made a funny face and pushed away the peanut butter. Although it's unfortunate he does not like peanut butter like his grandpa, it is cute that we have identified something they officially have in common. Now if I could only get Janet to like banannas like, then he would have something in common with his mom.
